Healthy Snack: Banana Fro-Yo Bites

It is important that athletes of all ages find creative ways to stay healthy and hydrated, especially during league season or tournament weekends. Check out our recipe of the day for a healthy alternative to snack food:

 

Banana Frozen Yogurt Bites:

  • 1 banana

  • 3/4 cup of yogurt

  • 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)

  • 1/4 cup of melted dark chocolate

  • Mash the banana

  • Mix banana with the yogurt and protein powder

  • Make circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

  • Freeze for 2-4 hours

  • Melt the dark chocolate and pour 1/2 subs onto each piece

  • Freeze again for 10-15 minutes

  • Enjoy!
