Truman has transformed the junior programs at 709 Basketball and Affiliated clubs to an elite level over the years. He has also coached U16 age groups at the provincial level in Toronto, Ontario. His extensive background in playing and coaching basketball at the school, club, and travel levels equips him with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of athlete development. Truman's journey includes captaining the Mount Pearl Senior High Huskies senior basketball team, where he led the team to victory in various tournaments during his high school career. This experience as a player and leader has deeply shaped his coaching perspective.
Beyond the court, Truman is a multi-talented individual. In addition to his passion for basketball, he showcases his artistic side as a member of a band, performing shows in St. John's.
